Fitment Notes

• This is a flush/surface mount fan - it sits on top of the shroud, not partially inside it like SPAL's 11", 12", 14", and 16" drop-in fans in this same product family. Confirm mount style before assuming interchangeability.
• Requires Plus Series-specific sensors and harnesses (SBL-YAZ-PT10 pigtail, SBL-TS-HARN, and a Plus Series temperature sensor) for full variable-speed operation - sold separately.
• Wiring note: the white trigger wire carries a pull-up resistor to battery positive, meaning system voltage is normal on that wire when the control system is off. Grounding the white wire alone turns the fan "on" without necessarily producing full running speed - a proper PWM signal is expected for correct variable-speed operation. Recommend fusing per SPAL's documented amp draw rather than oversizing based on assumption.
