Fitment Notes

• Drop-in mount - the fan sits partially inside the shroud. Confirm shroud depth accommodates this fan before ordering.
• Do not confuse with SPAL 30107102-PKG - the 500W version of this same 14" fan, with higher CFM and amp draw. This part number (30107103) is the 300W tier specifically.
• One retailer's spec sheet lists this part as CARB approved. This should be confirmed against SPAL's own documentation before representing it as California-legal for a specific customer's application.
• Requires Plus Series-specific sensors and harnesses (SBL-YAZ-PT10 pigtail, SBL-TS-HARN, and a Plus Series temperature sensor) for full variable-speed operation - sold separately, not compatible with SPAL's older Nuova series components.

Product Description

The SPAL 30107103-PKG is the 300-watt version of SPAL's 14-inch drop-in brushless puller fan, producing around 2,036-2,050 peak CFM - the lower-power sibling to the 500W 30107102 fan in the same 14" size class. It's a good fit for builds that need strong airflow in a 14" footprint without the higher current draw of the 500W version, which matters for electrical systems with more limited amperage headroom.

Like the rest of SPAL's Plus Series lineup, it uses a fully sealed brushless motor rated to IP68/IP6K9K standards for water and dust protection, and mounts drop-in style, sitting partially inside the shroud. The included jumper harness connects into SPAL's Plus Series temperature sensor system for automatic variable-speed operation, with the fan spinning faster as coolant temperature climbs.

Since 30107102 and 30107103 share the same 14" diameter and nearly identical part numbers, double-check which wattage tier the customer actually needs before ordering - the 300W version here draws meaningfully less current (about 25A vs. 42A peak) but also moves less peak airflow. As with the rest of this fan family, a complete variable-speed install needs the SBL-YAZ-PT10 pigtail, SBL-TS-HARN, and a Plus Series temperature sensor, all sold separately from this kit.
