Product Description

The SPAL 30107089-PKG is a 300-watt, 10-inch flush/surface mount brushless puller fan from SPAL's Plus Series lineup, delivering up to 1,345 peak CFM in a fully sealed package. Unlike the larger 11" and 12" fans in this same product family, which use a drop-in mount that sits partially inside the shroud, this 10" model mounts flush to the surface of the shroud - a meaningful difference worth confirming against the customer's shroud design before ordering.

The CFM figure here is a peak rating, measured at the fan's fastest speed when the cooling system is at its hottest, or when running the fan at full speed via an override switch on the blue wire. Since this is a variable-speed brushless fan, actual airflow scales down as coolant temperature drops - the fan runs slower (and quieter) most of the time and only reaches its peak CFM rating under real cooling demand, which is worth explaining to customers who might otherwise expect the fan to always run at its rated maximum.

Like its siblings in this lineup, the included jumper harness connects into SPAL's full temperature sensor ecosystem for automatic variable-speed control, or the fan can be run off any compatible low-current, negative-grounding PWM controller or an engine's ECU. It requires a specialty SPAL connector for installation and wires directly to the battery.
