The Snow Performance SNO-40012-BRD is a trunk mount conversion upgrade kit designed for any Snow Performance water-methanol injection system equipped with 4AN stainless steel braided lines. The kit enables users to move their standard 3-quart reservoir - or a custom-capacity tank - out of the engine bay and into the trunk or rear cargo area of the vehicle. This relocation is useful for builders looking to maximize engine bay space, route a larger-capacity reservoir, or balance vehicle weight distribution. The kit contains everything needed to safely complete the conversion: 15 feet of stainless steel braided EPDM line, a high-flow solenoid upgrade, and the required 4AN fittings to interface with the existing system.

The high-flow solenoid included in this kit is not optional - it is a mandatory safety component for all rear or trunk-mounted reservoir configurations. When the reservoir is located behind or below the nozzle injection point, gravity and engine vacuum can cause fluid to siphon into the intake tract when the system is not actively injecting. The anti-siphon solenoid prevents this from occurring by blocking fluid flow when the system is not commanded on. Snow Performance explicitly requires this solenoid on all rear-mount setups; operating a trunk-mounted system without it can result in uncontrolled fluid delivery and potential engine damage.
