The Skyjacker N8052 is a Nitro 8000 Series twin-tube, 150 PSI nitrogen gas-charged front shock absorber with an exceptionally broad multi-platform fitment range covering trucks, SUVs, and compact pickups at stock ride height from 1970 through 2016. Its distinctive Stem (stud) upper / Eyelet-Sleeve lower mount configuration makes it a direct replacement for factory-style front shocks on a wide variety of domestic and import platforms including Ford F-100, F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, Bronco II, Explorer, and Ranger (1970-1997); Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty (2005-2016); Dodge Dakota (1987-1996); Toyota 4Runner, Pickup, and T100; Nissan 720, D21 Hard Body, and Pathfinder; Isuzu Amigo, Pickup, Rodeo, and Trooper; Mazda B-Series and Navajo; Suzuki Samurai; and Honda Passport - all in 2WD and 4WD configurations.

Despite its compact dimensions (15.30 in. extended, 10.02 in. collapsed, 5.28 in. stroke), the N8052 delivers meaningful damping performance advantages over worn OE shocks. The 150 PSI nitrogen gas charge suppresses fluid foaming and fade during extended daily use, while the velocity-sensitive valving continuously adapts damping force to suspension speed and terrain input. The oversized bonded iron piston and 5/8 in. double-chrome rod provide durable, consistent operation across the full service life of the shock. The Stem upper mount threads directly into the factory location - no adapter required on any of its confirmed platforms.

The N8052 is a front shock designed strictly for stock ride height applications. It is not a lift shock and will not fit vehicles that have been raised - a different Nitro 8000 part number will be required for lifted applications. The upper Stem mount is a fixed stud configuration, which is different from the Eyelet/Sleeve mounts found on other N80xx series shocks. Always confirm your factory upper mount type before ordering to ensure correct fitment. Sold individually; order two for a complete front axle replacement. Fitment is confirmed through 2016 (Ford Super Duty); 2017 and later fitment is not confirmed for this part number.
