Product Description

The Skyjacker N8060 is a Nitro 8000 Series twin-tube, 150 PSI nitrogen gas-charged rear shock absorber purpose-built for 3 to 6 inches of rear lift on full-size Ford trucks. Its primary confirmed applications are the 2004-2013 Ford F-150 4WD (excluding Raptor) and the 2015-2020 Ford F-150, both at 3-6 in. of rear lift, along with the 1987-1997 Ford F-250 4WD at 3-6 in. rear lift. It also serves rear lifted applications on the 1983-1997 Ford Ranger 4WD, the 1970-1976 Ford F-100 4WD, and the 1964-1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40/BJ40. At 29.83 in. extended and 17.32 in. collapsed with a calculated stroke of approximately 12.51 in., the N8060 is sized specifically for the extended rear suspension travel of lifted full-size truck geometry - it is not interchangeable with stock-height replacement shocks.

The 150 PSI nitrogen charge suppresses fluid foaming and fade during sustained use, while the velocity-sensitive valving continuously adjusts damping force to suspension speed and terrain input. N8060 is a rear-only shock for lifted applications. It will not function correctly at stock ride height. For the 2004-2013 Ford F-150 specifically, the Raptor is excluded - this shock is not confirmed for that model.
