The Skyjacker FA400 Drop Pitman Arm is engineered to restore proper steering geometry on lifted Ford trucks and SUVs with power steering. When a vehicle's front suspension is raised 4-6", the angle of the drag link and steering linkage changes, which can cause bump steering and poor handling. The FA400 compensates for this change by lowering the steering arm's contact point, helping to maintain smooth, predictable steering control.

This direct-fit pitman arm is forged for rugged strength and designed as a bolt-in replacement for models like the Ford F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, Ranger, Explorer, and compatible Mazda B4000/Navajo trucks from the 1980s and '90s. Available in both standard drop and extreme drop versions depending on lift preference, the FA400 improves steering feel and road manners on lifted vehicles while maintaining drivetrain integrity.
