The Skyjacker N8079 is a Nitro 8000 Series twin-tube, 150 PSI nitrogen gas-charged rear shock absorber with an Eyelet/Eyelet (Eye/Eye) mount configuration and the longest confirmed stroke in the Nitro 8000 line at 13.73 in. - 34.00 in. extended to 20.27 in. collapsed. It is purpose-built for the extreme rear suspension travel of heavily lifted Ford Super Duty trucks, confirmed for the 1999-2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD at 2-7 in. of rear lift, the 2011-2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4WD at 6-7 in. of rear lift, and the 1983-1997 Ford Ranger 4WD at high-lift rear applications. The 34 in. extended length makes it distinctly longer than any other Nitro 8000 shock in this catalog series, and it should only be ordered for applications where that extreme length is specifically required for the vehicle's lift height.
