The Skyjacker M9538 is an M95 Performance Monotube rear shock absorber engineered specifically for 1961-1993 Dodge W-Series 4WD trucks and SUVs - including the W100, W150, W200, W250, W300, W350, Ramcharger, and Plymouth Trailduster - running 0-3.5 inches of rear lift. Unlike conventional twin-tube shocks, the M9538's single-tube monotube design separates the oil and nitrogen gas chambers using a floating piston, which eliminates aeration, dramatically reduces heat buildup, and ensures immediate, consistent damping response whether you're crawling a rocky trail or hauling a heavy load on the highway.

The oversized 46mm bore and high-pressure nitrogen charge work together to produce what Skyjacker describes as the fastest-responding shock in their lineup.
