Product Description

The Skyjacker YJ45RS is a 4 inch Rock Ready Double Military Wrap Rear Leaf Spring engineered for the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Unlike the standard Softride series, the Rock Ready design wraps the main leaf eye twice, distributing axle torque load across the two top leaves instead of concentrating stress on a single point. This makes the YJ45RS significantly more durable under the repetitive articulation and heavy loading of serious off-road builds and competition rigs. Every spring is 100% pre-cycled and set before leaving the factory, eliminating the break-in period and ensuring consistent lift height from day one.

The springs feature shot-peened leaves for maximum tensile strength, full-length tapered profiles with Teflon tip inserts for smooth flex under load, and enlarged spring eyes at both ends for long-term durability. The double wrap bushing kit SE45YJ is required for installation and sold separately. Two springs are needed for a complete rear set. For a full 4 inch lift system, this spring pairs with the YJ45FS front spring and YJ45 component box as part of the complete YJ45K Rock Ready kit.
