Product Description

The Skyjacker JP40FS Softride front leaf spring is engineered to lift and enhance the front suspension of vintage Jeep 4WD models built on solid axles. Designed to provide approximately 3.5-4 in of lift over stock ride height, this progressive multileaf spring improves ground clearance and supports larger tires for classic Jeep Cherokee, Wagoneer, and J-series pickup applications. Constructed from high-strength American steel with shot-peened leafs, the Softride design increases tensile strength and durability while reducing internal friction compared to older cinch-clip springs.

This leaf spring installs as a direct replacement in the front suspension of supported models without major geometry changes. The progressive taper and bolt-style spring clips help distribute loads evenly and promote smoother articulation on- and off-road. Sold individually, it's recommended to order two springs and an appropriate bushing kit for a complete front suspension refresh.
