Product Description

The Skyjacker DR40S is a 4-inch rear Softride® lift leaf spring built for 1972-1993 Dodge W-Series 4WD pickups, the Dodge Ramcharger, and Plymouth Trailduster. Its shot-peened American steel construction and tapered multi-leaf design provide a solid 4 inches of rear lift with the factory block in place - or can be run at reduced height by removing the block, making it versatile for both full-lift and moderate-lift configurations. Pre-installed rubber bushings are included, simplifying installation compared to springs that require separate bushing kits.

The DR40S installs directly in factory spring locations with no cutting or welding. Note that 1992-1993 models with 3/4-inch spring eye bolts require the SE17D bushing kit sold separately. Sold as a single spring; two are needed for a complete rear axle set. An optional Fitted Leaf (FLDR40) is available separately for builds carrying significant extra weight from winches or overland gear.
