Unlike conventional linear rate springs, these variable rate coils are specifically engineered to provide the best of both worlds: a softer, more compliant spring rate through the first 3.5 inches of travel for smooth highway cruising, then a progressively firmer rate as compression increases beyond that point for enhanced control during aggressive off-road driving.
