The Skyjacker B8570 Black MAX Rear Shock Absorber is engineered specifically for lifted rear suspension applications on 2002-2006 Chevy Avalanche 1500, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban, and GMC Yukon 1500 models with approximately 4-6 in lift installed. Featuring foam-cell technology and vehicle-specific multi-stage valving, this shock maintains consistent performance under extended use and elevated temperatures, making it ideal for off-road and daily lifted-truck driving.

This direct-bolt-in rear shock delivers an extended length of 28.59 in and collapses to 16.70 in, providing the ~11.9 in of stroke needed for higher travel on lifted setups. The foam-cell insert compensates for thermal expansion, ensuring steady damping characteristics.
