The Skyjacker B8527 Black MAX Twin-Tube Shock Absorber is a direct-fit rear shock designed to restore or enhance ride quality on a wide range of GM, Dodge, and Toyota trucks and SUVs spanning several decades. Built around Skyjacker's proprietary Advanced Foam-Cell technology, the B8527 features a Low-Pro foam insert that compresses during oil expansion under heat and heavy use - maintaining consistent damping output throughout the shock's full operating temperature range. The foam-cell design also eliminates air from the fluid, which allows the shock to be mounted in virtually any orientation while preventing fade during prolonged off-road or towing demands.

Inside, the B8527 uses vehicle-specific multi-stage StableSteer valving that is tuned to the exact rebound and compression characteristics of each supported platform. This results in maximum tire-to-road contact, reduced body roll, and a controlled, confident ride whether you're on paved highway or washboard trail.
