• This is the direct rear companion to the Skyjacker B8565 (front, 4-5 in. lift) - the B8565 and B8567 together make a complete 4-shock JK set for 4-5 in. lifts

• Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JL (2018-present) - the JL uses a different rear suspension geometry; this shock is JK-specific only

The Skyjacker B8567 Black MAX Twin-Tube Shock Absorber is the rear companion to the B8565, forming Skyjacker's complete 4-5 inch lift front-and-rear shock solution for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Purpose-built for the JK's rear coil-link suspension at aggressive lift heights, the B8567 delivers 26.83 inches of extended length and a 10.92-inch stroke - correctly dimensioned for proper droop and compression travel at 4 to 5 inches of rear lift, where a shorter stock-replacement shock would overextend and compromise both ride quality and long-term durability. It fits all JK configurations: 2-Door and 4-Door Unlimited, all trim levels from Sport through Rubicon, across both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains.

Built on Skyjacker's Advanced Foam-Cell technology, the B8567 uses a Low-Pro foam insert that compensates for oil expansion under heat - maintaining consistent damping output during hard off-road sessions and eliminating air from the hydraulic fluid to prevent fade. Vehicle-specific multi-stage StableSteer valving is tuned to the JK's rear Dana 44 (Rubicon) or Dana 35 axle behavior at lifted ride heights, keeping the rear axle compliant and predictable through technical terrain while delivering a controlled, stable ride on pavement.
