The Skyjacker B8594 Black MAX Twin-Tube Shock Absorber is a long-travel front shock designed for heavy-duty lifted trucks - specifically the Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500 running 4-6 inches of front lift (depending on year), and the Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty running extreme 8 to 8.5 inch front lifts. At 28.75 inches extended and a 12.25-inch stroke, the B8594 is significantly longer than its companion B8593 (26.65 in. extended), making it the correct choice when a lift kit puts the front shock towers at heights where the shorter shock would over-extend and lose damping control. All fitments are 4WD only across both platforms.

The Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 fitment spans multiple generations from 1994 through 2018 - covering the BR/BE-generation trucks (1994-2002), the third-gen DR body (2003-2009), the fourth-gen DJ (2010-2018), with specific lift ranges calibrated per generation.
