The Skyjacker B8584 Black MAX Twin-Tube Shock Absorber is a rear shock serving a notably diverse group of GM-platform vehicles - from the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize pickups and their Isuzu-badged GMT355 counterparts, to the 1992-1998 GMT400-generation full-size Suburbans and the first-generation Cadillac Escalade. Despite spanning trucks from two different GM platform generations and multiple decades, all these applications share compatible rear shock mounting geometry and similar suspension travel characteristics, making a single well-dimensioned shock appropriate across all of them. For the Colorado, Canyon, and Isuzu i-Series, the B8584 is sized for 3-4 inches of rear suspension lift. For the 1992-1998 Suburban and 1999-2000 Escalade, it serves as the appropriate rear replacement shock at stock or mildly lifted ride heights.
