The Skyjacker B8573 Black MAX Twin-Tube Shock Absorber is a high-lift rear shock purpose-built for the 1973-1991 Chevrolet and GMC 4WD full-size truck and Suburban lineup running 4.5 to 8 inches of rear suspension lift. It is the rear companion to the Skyjacker B8571 front shock, forming Skyjacker's complete high-lift shock solution for this classic GM platform. At 29.83 inches extended and a 12.53-inch stroke, the B8573 is dimensioned to maintain proper rear shock travel and damping control at lift heights where shorter shocks would over-extend, compromise articulation, and wear prematurely. The platform coverage spans from 1973 K10 and K20 pickups through the full Suburban lineup - including both the classic K-designation Suburbans and the 1987-1991 V-designation models (V10/V1500, V20/V2500) - all in 4WD configuration.
