The Skyjacker B8568 Black MAX Rear Shock Absorber is designed to provide durable, reliable damping for lifted rear suspensions on select Ford Super Duty trucks and classic Dodge 4WD pickups. Featuring advanced foam-cell technology, this twin-tube hydraulic shock compensates for internal oil expansion under heat, maintaining consistent performance over rough terrain and repeated use. The vehicle-specific multi-stage valving delivers balanced ride control while the chrome-plated shaft and 360° arc-welded end mounts ensure strength and corrosion resistance.

This shock fits rear suspension applications on 2020-2025 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD models with approximately 2-4.5" of lift, plus a broad range of classic Dodge Ram and W-Series 4WD pickups from the 1960s through early '90s with 4-7" lift heights. Its 180° directional mounting capability and protective black boot make installation flexible and straightforward. Sold individually, two B8568 shocks are typically required for a complete rear upgrade for improved ride quality and off-road performance.
