The Skyjacker B8388 is a Black MAX twin-tube foam-cell rear shock absorber for the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL. It is a longer-travel rear shock than the B8387 - designed for applications with 3.5-4 inches of rear lift using standard linear coil springs or spacers, or 2-3 inches of rear lift in long-travel coil spring lift systems. Selecting the correct rear shock for the lift height and spring system on the build is critical for proper suspension travel and damping performance; the B8388 should be used within the lift ranges specified above.
