• Spring bushing kit is required and sold separately - it is not included with the spring:

Product Description

The Skyjacker C225S is a Softride Front Leaf Spring delivering 2.5 inches of front suspension lift for the 1967-1973 Chevrolet and GMC classic full-size 4WD truck platform - covering the K10 and K20 pickup, the K5 Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban across both makes. It is the front spring component shared across Skyjacker's C225-series lift kits, and is also available individually for builders sourcing components separately. As with all Skyjacker Softride springs, the C225S uses tapered leaves to reduce inter-leaf friction and produce a lower spring rate than traditional multi-leaf packs - resulting in a more compliant, street-friendly ride that doesn't sacrifice the load capacity or durability required for off-road and towing use.

The 5-leaf progressive pack is manufactured from high-quality American steel, shot-peened for increased tensile strength, and pre-compressed under hydraulic pressure after production to preset the arch and significantly reduce the risk of sag in service. Teflon wear pads between leaves eliminate friction squeak and extend spring life. A baked-on powder coat finish protects against corrosion on and off the road. The spring measures 45 inches in overall length with a 2½-inch width and a 3¼-inch free arch - dimensions engineered to maintain proper axle geometry, pinion angle, and front suspension alignment at the 2.5 inch lift height on the supported platforms.

The C225S is sold as a single spring - two are required for a complete front axle installation. A spring bushing kit is required and sold separately: SE11C for 1967-1987 K-series trucks and 1969-1987 Blazer/Jimmy/Suburban; SE17C for 1988-1991 K25 and 1988-1991 Blazer/Jimmy/Suburban. Optional U-bolt kits (UC2F, UCABF, or UCCF, depending on year) are available for installations using the OEM front axle. For builds carrying additional weight from overland accessories, winches, or engine swaps, the optional FLC225S Fitted Add-A-Leaf pair is compatible and works only with Skyjacker Softride springs.
