Vehicle Fitment

  • 1999 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty - 4WD | Rear | 5-6 in. Lift
  • 2000-2004 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty - 4WD | Rear | 5-8 in. Lift
  • 2005-2007 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty - 4WD | Rear | 5-8 in. Lift
  • 2008-2016 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty - 4WD | Rear | 6 in. Lift
  • Note: SBE405 covers rear sway bar end link correction across nearly two full generations of the Ford Super Duty (1999-2016). The lift height range varies by platform generation - 5-6 in. for the 1999 model year, 5-8 in. for the 2000-2007 range, and 6 in. specifically for the 2008-2016 generation. Confirm your exact model year and lift height against the table above before ordering.
  • Note: SBE405 is a rear-only sway bar end link. For front sway bar correction on the Super Duty, use SBE402 (1999, front, 3-4 in.), SBE407 (2000-2004, front, 3-4 in.), or SBE408 (2000-2004, front, 5-8 in.) depending on your lift height and year.
  • Note: This product is for lifted 4WD applications only. It is not a stock-height replacement.

Features

  • Extended length design restores correct rear sway bar angle and geometry after 5-8 in. (or 6 in. on 2008-2016 models) of rear suspension lift on the Ford Super Duty, preventing sway bar binding and preserving full anti-roll function throughout the suspension's range of travel
  • Manufactured from 4140H chromoly steel - the same high-strength alloy used in performance driveline components, selected for its superior tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and ability to handle the high dynamic loads that sway bar end links experience on a heavily lifted heavy-duty truck
  • Zinc or comparable durable protective coating resists corrosion from road spray, salt brine, and the harsh environments that Super Duty trucks typically operate in across their long service lives
  • Red polyurethane bushings included - delivering firmer, more responsive sway bar engagement than factory rubber, with significantly greater resistance to oil, heat, and mechanical wear across the high-cycle use of these work and off-road trucks
  • Direct bolt-on installation to factory rear sway bar mounting points - no drilling, cutting, or welding required on confirmed platforms
  • Properly corrected rear sway bar geometry preserves the anti-roll function of the rear stabilizer bar at the new lifted ride height, maintaining cornering stability and load-management handling on a full-size truck that may also carry payloads or tow
  • Engineered to span multiple Super Duty generations (1999-2016) with generation-specific lift height compatibility - a single part number serving nearly two decades of Super Duty rear sway bar correction requirements
  • Sold as a pair - includes two extended end links for a complete rear sway bar installation
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

Product Description

The Skyjacker SBE405 is a pair of extended rear sway bar end links designed to restore correct rear sway bar geometry on the Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 4WD after a significant rear suspension lift. It covers nearly two full generations of the Super Duty: the 1999 model year at 5-6 in. of rear lift, the 2000-2004 and 2005-2007 generations at 5-8 in. of rear lift, and the 2008-2016 generation at 6 in. of rear lift. When the rear suspension is lifted without corrected end links, the factory-length links can no longer maintain the designed connection angle between the rear sway bar and the axle, causing binding and a significant loss of roll-control effectiveness - a particularly important concern on a heavy-duty truck that may be towing or hauling payloads.

The SBE405 end links are constructed from 4140H chromoly steel for superior tensile strength and fatigue resistance under the high loads that sway bar end links experience on a heavy truck. Red polyurethane bushings are included for improved engagement and long service life. Installation is a direct bolt-on to the factory rear sway bar mounting points on all confirmed platforms - no modification required. The set contains two end links, providing a complete rear sway bar installation on one axle.

SBE405 addresses rear sway bar correction only. For front sway bar end link correction on the Super Duty at these lift heights, refer to SBE407 or SBE408 depending on the year range and lift height. Oldest confirmed application is 1999 (Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350 4WD). Newest confirmed application is 2016. No 2025 fitment is applicable for this part number.
