Product Description

The Skyjacker 7017 is a Hydro 7000 HD OEM Replacement Steering Stabilizer Kit engineered specifically for 1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 4WD trucks equipped with a drop Pitman arm - typically those running a suspension lift. Unlike the standard 7007 kit, the 7017 includes a different hardware configuration with additional sleeves and fine-thread fasteners to accommodate the repositioned steering geometry that comes with a drop Pitman arm correction. It delivers the same Hydro 7000 white twin-tube cylinder with velocity-sensitive hydraulic damping, controlling road harshness, bump steer, and the shimmy that develops on lifted trucks with larger tires.

This kit installs directly into the OEM stabilizer mount on the Ram chassis without cutting or modification and is designed as a drop-in replacement for the factory stabilizer in a lifted application. Trucks without a drop Pitman arm should use PN 7007 instead. The replacement cylinder for this kit is PN 7000, and the kit is backed by Skyjacker's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
