The Skyjacker 9000 is the bare replacement cylinder for the Silver 9000 series steering stabilizer system. It is sold as a cylinder only with no mounting hardware included, and is designed to be swapped into an existing Skyjacker Silver 9000 kit installation by reusing the original hardware already mounted on the vehicle. This makes it the correct service part for owners who need to replace a worn or damaged stabilizer cylinder without purchasing a complete new kit. It is not an OEM direct replacement and should not be ordered for a first-time installation - for a complete kit with all required hardware, reference Skyjacker part number 9017 or the appropriate application-specific kit number.

The 9000 cylinder uses Skyjacker's Silver 9000 twin-tube design, featuring vehicle-specific multi-stage valving, increased fluid capacity for improved heat dissipation, and advanced foam-cell technology that compensates for oil expansion under load - eliminating the air bubble formation that causes fade and inconsistency in traditional hydraulic stabilizers.
