Product Description

The Skyjacker 7000 is a single Hydro 7000 series replacement steering stabilizer cylinder designed for use in existing Skyjacker steering stabilizer kit installations across a wide range of classic and modern 4WD trucks, SUVs, and pickups from Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge, Ford, Jeep, and Plymouth spanning 1967-2024. The white-bodied twin-tube cylinder delivers velocity-sensitive hydraulic damping that effectively controls bump steer, road harshness, and the steering shimmy commonly associated with larger tire and wheel setups. It includes 5/8 in. hourglass bushings and a red protective boot, but no mounting brackets or hardware.

This cylinder is the designated replacement unit for Skyjacker dual steering stabilizer kit PN 7220 (inline mount configuration) and other compatible Hydro 7000 kit applications. It is not an OEM direct-replacement part and requires an existing stabilizer bracket setup for installation. Backed by Skyjacker's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
