The Skyjacker FA600 Drop Pitman Arm is engineered to restore proper steering geometry on lifted Ford trucks and SUVs with power steering. When a front suspension is lifted 6-8 inches, the steering linkage angle changes and can cause bump-steer, poor handling, and a disconnected steering feel. The FA600's 5.5" drop design repositions the steering arm to correct this geometry and provide smoother, more predictable steering response on- and off-road.
