Fitment Notes

The Rywire RY-DIS-PRELUDE-2-2-10-PIN is a plug-and-play distributor adapter designed for 1996-2001 USDM Honda Prelude (H22A) builds that need the stock Prelude distributor and coil plugs to communicate with a 1996-2001 OBD2 10-position distributor connector. This is the OBD2-to-OBD2 variant in Rywire's Prelude distributor adapter lineup, making it ideal for engine swaps or harness conversions where the target chassis uses the standard 10-pin OBD2 distributor plug format rather than an OBD1 connector.

A jumper fuse is included to handle the external-to-internal coil conversion when upgrading distributor type. As noted by Rywire, USDM OBD2 computers may generate a cam sensor code due to a different trigger wheel on the Prelude distributor; running a JDM or OBD1 computer is the recommended approach for the most reliable setup with this adapter. This adapter does not fit 1998 and later Honda Accord models. No cutting or permanent wiring modification is required for installation.
