Product Description

The RS-R XLIT191MA Best-i Active coilover system solves the problem most aftermarket coilover swaps run into on a factory-AVS-equipped Lexus: the electronic adaptive damping system normally stops working the moment the factory shocks come out. RS-R engineers the Best-i Active line to keep that factory actuator functioning on an aftermarket coilover, so 2014-2016 IS250 and IS350 F Sport owners can lower and upgrade their suspension without losing the electronically adjustable damping built into the car.

Beyond the factory-integration feature, the coilover carries RS-R's full build standard - hand-assembled monotube dampers with laser-cut upper mounts and hand-welded lower brackets, roller bearings to eliminate spring twist noise, and urethane bushings to cut down on everyday driving vibration. A 36-way primary damper adjustment is joined by a secondary 24-way dial at the base of the damper for finer tuning, and select vehicles can gain an additional 1.5 degrees of camber by rotating the upper mount plate.

A front spring rate of 10.00 kg/mm pairs with an 8.30 kg/mm rear rate, tuned specifically for the IS chassis. Height adjusts well beyond the factory preset - up to -95mm at the front and -60mm at the rear - giving F Sport owners substantial range to dial in stance while keeping the factory AVS damping control fully intact.
