Product Description

The ROUSH 421981 is a complete cold air intake kit engineered specifically for the 2015-2017 Ford F-150 with 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engines, including the 2017 F-150 Raptor. Designed using OEM CAD data for precise fitment and developed with ROUSH's dyno testing program, the system delivers up to 28 rear-wheel horsepower and 27 lb-ft of rear-wheel torque on the 3.5L EcoBoost platform - with no PCM recalibration, tune, or powertrain warranty implications. Installation uses factory mounting locations and EPDM rubber couplers for a clean, factory-style install that takes under an hour.

The oversized injection-molded airbox and 105mm MAP tube increase intake volume and reduce restriction by up to 25% versus stock in forced induction conditions, drawing cooler air from outside the hot engine bay. The included dry air filter is washable and reusable with no oiling required. The system also provides a more aggressive induction sound under throttle. Note: ROUSH replaced 421981 with the improved 422089 in 2018 - which adds a clear-window airbox lid and fits 2015 through current model years. 421981 remains the original design for 2015-2017 applications.
