Fitment Notes

• Threaded forged rod end - threads directly into components with a 7/8 in.-14 RH threaded receiver; no welding required

• .640 in. thru-bolt bore (5/8 in. class) - no bolt included; source separately to match application
• Uses narrow-body-specific one-piece urethane internals - not interchangeable with standard-body internals
• Left-hand thread version available as CE-9116NL-23

Product Description

The RockJock CE-9116N-23 is a 2-inch narrow-body forged Johnny Joint rod end with a 7/8 in.-14 RH threaded shank and a 1.640 in. x .640 in. ball. It shares the same 7/8-inch thread size as the CE-9116N-13 but steps up to a larger .640 in. (5/8-inch class) thru-bolt bore and a slightly wider 1.640 in. mounting width - making it the correct choice when a larger thru-bolt diameter is required at this thread size. Like all narrow-body Johnny Joints, it delivers up to 40 degrees of unrestricted articulation through its one-piece high-performance urethane bushing design, well beyond the range of standard heim joints (22°) or standard-body Johnny Joints (30°).

The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication, and an external zerk fitting allows quick greasing without removing the joint from the vehicle. The gold zinc plated finish provides corrosion resistance for daily and trail use. No thru-bolt is included - source a 5/8 in. class bolt separately to match your application's length and grade requirements. A left-hand thread equivalent is available as CE-9116NL-23, and the joint is fully rebuildable using RockJock's CE-9112RK rebuild kit. Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
