Fitment Notes

• Direct bolt-on replacement - no modifications or machining to any part of the vehicle required
• Compatible with factory iron or aluminum outer steering knuckles, RockJock High Steer knuckles, or aftermarket knuckles retaining the factory JL/JT taper
• NOTE: If tie rod end mounting hole tapers have been enlarged or drilled out, this is no longer a bolt-on fit
• Designed for stock height through 6 in. of lift
• Eliminates the factory steering stabilizer shock mounting location on the tie rod - a separate steering stabilizer relocation bracket kit is required to retain the stabilizer shock

Product Description

The RockJock RJ-442101-101 Currectlync Heavy Duty Tie Rod is a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT owners who take their vehicles off-road. The factory tie rod on JL/JT models is undersized for aggressive trail use and is prone to bending under the stress of large tires, high-speed whoops, and rock impacts. RockJock's replacement features a 42mm alloy steel tube - significantly thicker and stronger than the factory component - with larger forged steel greaseable rod ends and a double adjuster that allows toe corrections without disconnecting either end from the vehicle.

The tie rod installs using factory mounting tapers with no drilling, machining, or modifications required, and is compatible with stock knuckles, RockJock High Steer knuckles, and most aftermarket knuckles retaining the factory JL/JT taper. It is designed for vehicles from stock height up to 6 inches of lift and is compatible with ram assist steering for builds running oversized tires. Note that this tie rod eliminates the factory steering stabilizer shock mounting point on the tube - a separate stabilizer shock relocation or high-mount bracket kit from RockJock is required to retain the steering stabilizer shock.
