• Voltage range is 9-15V DC - designed for standard 12V automotive systems only; not compatible with 24V commercial, heavy equipment, or high-voltage marine systems
• Uses the RDS-Series curved housing - compatible with all Rigid Industries RDS-Series light covers and mounts; NOT compatible with E-Series mounting hardware (which fits the straight Radiance+ bars such as the 240053)
• The curved housing profile sweeps forward at the ends - designed for windshield-frame, roof-rack, and cab-roof mounting positions where the curve follows the vehicle's roofline contour and provides a wider-spread forward beam without tilting the bar

The Rigid Industries 340053 is the Radiance+ Curved 40-inch RGBW LED light bar - the curved housing variant of the 40-inch Radiance+ RGBW platform. Where the straight 240053 uses the E-Series housing and mounts, the 340053 uses Rigid's RDS-Series curved housing, producing a forward-sweeping bar profile that is specifically designed for roofline, windshield-frame, and cab-roof mounting where the curved shape follows the vehicle contour and improves lateral beam distribution. The curved format angles the outer LEDs slightly inward and forward relative to the bar's centerline - broadening the effective horizontal beam coverage compared to a flat-mounted straight bar of the same length without requiring the bar to be tilted or angled in the mount.

Like the straight 240053, the 340053 combines Spot Drive forward optics with an independently controlled RGBW backlight system cycling through 8 color modes. The 21 forward LEDs produce 16,632 raw lumens at 179 watts, with the curved housing distributing this output differently than a straight bar - emphasizing the lateral spread that makes curved bars better suited to elevated roofline positions where forward-center concentration is less useful than wide coverage. The RGBW backlight in the curved format creates a distinctive illuminated arc effect from behind and to the sides, visible from above and behind the vehicle when the bar is roof-mounted - a different visual profile from the straight bar's flat backlight glow.

Mount compatibility is an important distinction: the 340053 uses RDS-Series brackets and covers, not E-Series hardware. Buyers who already have E-Series mounting systems from other straight Radiance+ or E-Series light bars will need RDS-Series mounting hardware for the 340053.
