The Ridetech 22159847 Front HQ Series Shock is a 5.25" stroke, wide T-bar/stud mount monotube shock used across an unusually broad range of GM, Ford, and Pontiac full-size classics - from 1955 Chevys through late-'90s C1500 trucks and Suburbans. Its 1.5" aluminum body and rebound-adjustable valving deliver the same superior damping control as Ridetech's other HQ Series shocks, with a larger piston and hard-anodized finish built to last.

Because this shock spans so many platforms sharing a common shock geometry, it's worth double-checking your specific lower mount bolt spacing (2.312"-2.875") against your vehicle before ordering. It's sold individually - a full front installation needs two.
