Fitment Notes

• Eye/Eye mounting - upper and lower mounts are both 1.7" eyelet bearings; measure center eye to center eye for installed dimensions
• Replaces both the coil spring and shock absorber as a single integrated unit - installs similarly to a coil-over
• An air compressor and management/control system are required to operate the air springs and are sold separately
• Sold as a pair (left and right)
• For the 7000 Series (smaller diameter, lighter load capacity) equivalent with identical dimensions, use part #21170701

Product Description

The Ridetech 21170801 is a pair of HQ Series 8000 ShockWave units configured with a 6.9" shock stroke, Eye/Eye 1.7" eyelet mounts, and a Firestone 5" diameter rolling sleeve air spring - providing a compressed length of 13.75" and an extended length of 20.00" measured center eye to center eye. The ShockWave is Ridetech's most compact air suspension solution: it integrates the air spring and shock absorber into a single coil-over-style unit, eliminating the need for separate spring brackets or spring perches and simplifying installation considerably.

The 8000 Series is the larger-diameter sibling to the 7000 Series, offering a higher load capacity of 1,200 lbs at 100 psi with a linear spring rate from its straight-piston lower profile - making it the appropriate choice for solid rear axles where the axle assembly weight falls below 2,000 lbs. The HQ shock absorber inside provides 24-position single rebound adjustment, letting the builder dial in ride quality and handling response independently from ride height. An air compressor and management system are required and sold separately. The HQ Series shock carries Ridetech's 1,000,001-mile warranty.
