Product Description

The Ridetech 11172401 Front HQ ShockWave Kit is designed for 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models with stock lower control arms. Combining an adjustable HQ monotube shock with a double-convoluted air spring, the ShockWave replaces the conventional front coil spring and shock with a compact, height-adjustable air-suspension assembly.

The HQ Series provides single-adjustable rebound damping, allowing suspension response to be tuned for street driving and performance applications. The system uses impact-forged aluminum shock construction, a heavy-duty 5/8-inch shaft, 2.6 inches of shock travel, and a 6.5-inch air spring. An air compressor and compatible air-management system are required separately for operation.
