Product Description

The Ridetech 11244799 is a rear dual-rate lowering spring for 1968-72 GM A-Body muscle cars, dropping ride height 2 inches while improving handling over the stock spring. The dual-rate design starts with a soft 140 lb/in. section that absorbs everyday road irregularities comfortably, then transitions to a firmer 260 lb/in. rate as the suspension compresses further under hard cornering or big bumps - giving both a comfortable ride and controlled handling from the same spring.

Developed with Hyperco to dial in A-body-specific rates, the springs are CNC cold-wound and powder-coated for long-term durability. While Ridetech notes these work well as standalone upgrades compatible with OEM components, they're designed to perform best as part of a complete StreetGRIP suspension system.
