Product Description

The Ridetech 12102899 Front Lower StrongArm replaces the stamped factory lower control arm and strut rod on 1967-1970 Mustang and Cougar with a one-piece tubular design built for ShockWave or coil-over installation. A spherical bearing in a billet aluminum housing takes the place of the factory rubber bushing, eliminating the deflection that shows up under hard braking and cornering.

The built-in eccentric eliminator plate locks in alignment once it's set, so fine-tuning happens at the upper arm instead of drifting out of spec over time. It's a foundational piece for a Mustang or Cougar front suspension build, though it's worth noting it doesn't work with the original 1967 Kelsey-Hayes 4-piston brake calipers.
