Product Description

The Ridetech 12109520 StreetGrip Ball Joint Wedge Plates are a 3-hole, 6-degree pair engineered for the 1964½-1970 Ford Mustang as a companion to the Shelby Drop suspension modification. The Shelby Drop lowers the upper control arm mounting holes in the shock tower to improve suspension geometry - but without angle correction, the repositioned ball joint angle causes binding through suspension travel. These wedge plates bolt between the upper control arm and the ball joint to restore the correct angle, eliminating bind while simultaneously improving the camber curve with more negative camber and positive caster gain for better cornering stability.

Used with stock upper control arms (not aftermarket tubular arms), these plates are a core component of the Ridetech StreetGrip suspension system for the Mustang and are used in conjunction with the 4-hole version (#12109521), as most Mustangs use one of each ball joint mounting pattern. A Shelby Drop drilling template and all required hardware are included. Sold as a pair, made in the USA.
