Fitment Notes

• Requires Ridetech StrongArm upper and lower control arms for proper bolt-on installation - will not work with stock suspension geometry
• When installed with Ridetech StrongArms, ride height is approximately 2" lower than factory driving height
• Must be used with 1959-1964 stock spindles - drop spindles are not compatible and will cause fitment, geometry, alignment, and ride quality issues
• Ride height is adjustable within approximately 3" of range on the coil-over body
• Sold as a front system - includes two coil-over shocks and two matched coil springs

Product Description

The Ridetech 11053510 is a front HQ Series coil-over system engineered for the 1958-1964 Chevrolet B-Body platform - covering the Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, Brookwood, and associated wagon and El Camino variants. Paired with Ridetech StrongArm control arms (sold separately), this system delivers approximately 2" of front drop over factory height with proper suspension geometry, giving these iconic full-size cars a dramatically improved stance without sacrificing driveability.

The HQ Series coil-over shocks are built around impact-forged aluminum monotube bodies with 1.834" pistons, heavy-duty 5/8" shafts, and 24-position rebound adjustment - giving owners the ability to dial in damping from a comfortable street cruise to a tight, responsive performance feel. Coil springs with the correct application-specific spring rate are included in the kit, so there is no guesswork on spring selection. These coil-overs require stock 1959-1964 spindles and will not function correctly with drop spindles of any kind. All shocks are backed by Ridetech's 1,000,001-mile warranty.
