Fitment Notes

• Not compatible with F-150 Raptor or Lightning models
• A spring compressor is required for installation; check whether adjustment can be done on-vehicle or requires spring removal
• If reusing the factory upper control arm: headlight sensor bracket kit #12299506 and payload sensor part #12299507 are required, and the lower control arm bolt hole needs to be slotted ½" inboard
• If using Ridetech's upper control arm instead: headlight sensor bracket kit #12299501 (two driver-side sensors) or #12299502 (four sensors/onboard scale) is required
• Below 3" of front ride height reduction, slotting the lower control arm alone isn't sufficient - Ridetech tubular control arms are needed
• Traction bars are required on power-adder (supercharged, turbo, or nitrous) equipped trucks

The Ridetech 12290150 StreetGRIP kit drops the F-150 3.5" in front and 5.5" in the rear using non-adjustable Fox Adventure Series struts and shocks, while keeping the factory springs, top hats, and control arms intact. That keeps the ride characteristics Ford engineered into the truck largely unchanged while giving it a noticeably lower, more aggressive stance.

It's positioned as the more budget-friendly entry point into Ridetech's F-150 lineup compared to the Touring kit, and it's built as a foundation that can grow - compatible with Ridetech's rear sway bar, traction bars, and load-leveling system as later additions. Depending on whether you keep the factory upper control arm or upgrade to Ridetech's tubular arm, different headlight sensor brackets and lower control arm modifications are required, so it's worth confirming your specific setup before ordering.
