The Revolution Gear REV-TACO-8-529-OPEN is a front and rear gear package for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma equipped with the open carrier 8.0" IFS front and 8.0" V6 rear differentials. Re-gearing to 5.29 restores the factory torque feel and drivability lost when running larger tires, and delivers the short gearing necessary for confident rock crawling, heavy towing, and off-road trail work. The package covers both axles in a single kit, including the front 8.0" IFS and rear 8.0" V6 ring and pinion gear sets and their corresponding master install bearing kits -- everything needed for a complete front and rear re-gear without sourcing components separately.

All Revolution Gear ring and pinion sets are manufactured from 8620 steel, precision heat treated to meet or exceed OEM specifications, and double or triple lapped for smooth, quiet operation and consistent setup. Timken bearings are included throughout. This package is designed specifically for open carrier Tacomas with 53mm carrier bearings -- it does not fit factory locker equipped models.
