Product Description

The Remus 089017 1500 is an axle-back sport exhaust system for the 2017-2022 BMW M550i xDrive G30 sedan equipped with the 4.4L N63R twin-turbo V8 producing 340 kW. This left/right system features stainless steel construction with an absorption-principle muffler design and two integrated electronically controlled valves that operate through the factory actuator via the vehicle's onboard electronics -- allowing the driver to toggle between a refined cruising tone and an aggressive sport exhaust note using the factory exhaust valve modes without any aftermarket controllers or modifications to the vehicle's electronics.

Installation requires cutting the original exhaust at the manufacturer-marked cutting point and mounting the Remus system at the factory serial mounting points. No rear skirt modifications are required. This system is designed exclusively for vehicles equipped with the M Sport option and must be used in combination with the original BMW G30 550i rear diffuser (BMW part number 51 12 8 098 701) for proper fitment and appearance. Tail pipe sets are sold separately and are available in multiple finish options including polished chrome, street race chrome, and carbon fiber to match the desired aesthetic. EC approval is included for street-legal use.
