The Raxiom 398336 Axial Series Smoked LED Third Brake Light is a straightforward but impactful upgrade for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang owners on the New Edge platform. Swapping out the dim factory incandescent unit for a row of 12 high-output LEDs dramatically increases rear visibility, making your Mustang easier to spot in traffic and reducing the risk of rear-end collisions. The smoked red lens and black housing give the rear end a cleaner, more aggressive look compared to the standard clear-lens brake light.

Installation is fully plug-and-play - no cutting, splicing, or wiring changes needed. The unit mounts directly in place of the factory housing and can be completed in about 15 minutes using basic hand tools.
