Product Description

The Rancho RS55391 RS5000X Rear Shock Absorber is engineered as a direct replacement for the rear suspension of *1998-2004 Nissan Pathfinder 4WD* vehicles with stock ride height (0" lift). Part of Rancho's RS5000X performance series, this shock features Progressive Engagement Valving and a Tuned Compression Control Valve to help smooth bumps and improve handling both on pavement and off-road. The gas-charged twin-tube design with all-weather fluid helps resist shock fade under extended use and temperature variation.

Constructed with a nitro-carburized piston rod for enhanced corrosion resistance and a large twin-tube body for heat management, the RS55391 also includes a protective dust boot and durable bushings that reduce noise and vibration while protecting internal components. Designed for reliable performance and longevity, this shock delivers an upgrade in ride quality and control without modification to the Pathfinder's original rear suspension. Always verify exact year, drivetrain, and suspension setup before installation to ensure proper fitment.
