Product Description

The Rancho RS77198 RS7MT Rear Shock Absorber is a non-adjustable monotube performance replacement engineered for rear suspension applications on a range of full-size 1500-series trucks from Chevrolet and GMC as well as select Dodge Ram 1500 models. Built with a large 2" monotube body filled with all-weather fluid and high-pressure nitrogen gas, this shock minimizes heat build-up and fade while delivering consistent damping performance on both paved roads and moderate off-road terrain.

Featuring a hardened chrome piston rod and an integrated dirt wiper sealing system, the RS77198 helps resist corrosion and contamination for long service life. Its Deflective Disc valving and internal rebound bumper provide balanced handling and smoother ride quality compared with worn or stock rear shocks. Sold individually and intended for traditional rear suspension setups without electronic ride control, this RS7MT shock is ideal for drivers upgrading aging shocks or restoring performance on older 1500-series trucks.
