Product Description

The Rancho RS55190 RS5000X rear shock absorber is engineered as a performance-oriented replacement for a wide range of Chevrolet and GMC full-size trucks and SUVs built from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. Featuring a durable gas-charged twin-tube design with Progressive Engagement valving, this shock helps smooth out bumps and harsh impacts while improving handling and ride comfort over factory-worn units. A nitro-carburized piston rod and full-displaced 35 mm piston contribute to long-lasting performance in varied driving conditions.

This shock fits rear suspension applications on vehicles such as C/K series pickup trucks, Suburbans, Blazers, Tahoes, Yukons, Sonoma pickups, and Jimmy SUVs, offering direct-fit installation with OE-style mounting. With its robust construction and included protective boot, the RS55190 is suitable for daily driving and light off-road use. Sold individually, Rancho's RS5000X shocks come with a limited lifetime warranty for added confidence.
