The Rancho RS55145 RS5000X front shock absorber is a performance-replacement shock designed for select 1986-1995 Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models, and 1993-1998 Toyota T100 4WD trucks. Its RS5000X Series construction uses progressive engagement valving and tuned compression control to deliver a smoother, controlled ride on both on- and off-road terrain, improving handling over stock dampers.

Built with a gas-charged twin-tube design, a robust nitro-carburized piston rod, and a larger shock body for improved fluid capacity, this shock offers enhanced durability and ride quality.
