Product Description

The Rancho RS55609 RS5000X front shock absorber is a performance-oriented replacement shock engineered for select rear-wheel-drive Dodge and Toyota trucks and SUVs. Designed as a direct fit for front suspension applications on 1984-1995 Toyota Pickup, 1993-1998 Toyota T100, 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma (without TRD), 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota (2WD), and 1999-2003 Dodge Durango (2WD), this shock enhances ride comfort and handling.

As part of the RS5000X Series, the RS55609 features gas-charged twin-tube construction with progressive engagement and cross-tuned valving. This minimizes rough ride inputs and provides controlled compression and rebound feedback for both on-road stability and light off-road performance. The robust build includes a nitro-carburized piston rod, sintered iron piston, and protective boot to extend service life.
