Product Description

The Rancho RS55120 is a front gas shock absorber from the RS5000X series engineered to upgrade handling and ride quality on classic GM full-size trucks and SUVs. Its Progressive Engagement Valving and Tuned Compression Control help smooth out both low-speed pavement bumps and larger impacts off-road, while the nitro-carburized piston rod and full-displaced bore improve strength and corrosion resistance over factory units.

This shock is typically used on older *1967-1991 GM C/K pickups and SUVs (including Blazer-style vehicles) where vehicle geometry and lift height allow proper shock travel. It can fit stock height or mild lift setups on front suspension attachments. Confirm your vehicle's exact ride height and mounting style before ordering to ensure correct application.
